Calling all Energy Modeling Managers residing in London or Kitchener ON with previous experience in high-capacity residential properties! The ideal Energy Modeling Team Lead should be well versed in holding the team accountable to goals, budgets, revenue, forecasting as well as ensuring building standards compliance.
Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000 annually to start based on experience and training, including:

Schedule
Day Shift, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (M-Th); 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Fridays. Flexibility will be granted to those who need it so long as job functions are upheld. Overtime is paid.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Systems Engineering from a Canadian University.
- Professional Engineer Status recognized by the Government of Canada.
- Previous Energy Modeling, Building Energy Simulations, HVAC, Lighting, Building Envelope experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard energy modelling software, including eQuest, RETScreen, HOT2000, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Ontario Building Code, NECB, CSA Standards, ASHRAE).
- Maintain fiscal (budget, forecast, invoicing, accounting,etc.), energy efficiency (Ontario Building Code, specifically SB-10 and SB-12, CMHC MLI Select and ACLP) and project (building standards compliance, workload, guidance) responsibilities for team.
- Communicate and Lead with own division, sub-divisions, partners and regulators.
- Identify growth opportunities for the Energy Modeling team, including market expansion and technical development.
