Our manufacturing client in the SE of Calgary is looking for an experienced and dedicated Electric Pallet Jack Operator for a one-month assignment starting at the beginning of June. This person will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack to safely move and lift pallets within the warehouse facility.Responsibilities:
- Maneuvering the electric pallet jack to transport materials and goods
- Lifting and lowering pallets using the pallet jack's hydraulic system
- Strapping and packaging pallets of materials for shipping
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance on the pallet jack
- Collaborating with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product handling
Requirements:
- Certification in Electric Pallet Jack operation is required
- Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered industrial equipment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in an industrial environment
- Physically fit, capable of bending, pulling straps and lifting up to 50lbs
- Excellent communciation skills, self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- TDG and WHMIS certifications are considered an asset
