Overview

The Portage la Prairie School Division invites applications for a French Immersion Physical Education Teacher. École Arthur Meighen is a vibrant, inclusive and dynamic kindergarten to grade 8 French Immersion school dedicated to offering a supportive environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Manitoba Teaching Certificate in good standing or necessary credentials to obtain certification


• Fluently bilingual in both English and French


• Strong proficiency in French, both written and spoken, with a demonstrated ability to lead in a French Immersion Environment


• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, parents, staff and community members


• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities


• A commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive and supportive school environment
