Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator/Infant Toddler (ECE/IT) to foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, with the ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum, support children's developmental needs, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative, developmentally age-appropriate activities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, social-emotional growth, and active participation.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
- Uphold all safety protocols and regulations related to childcare and early childhood education standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; classroom experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development stages, and special education strategies.
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written—to effectively engage children, parents, and team members.
- ECE/IT certificate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
