With expertise in portfolio accounting system implementations, in this role, you will identify gaps, map processes, collaborate with stakeholders and ensure the alignment of solutions with our strategic goals.

You will spearhead stakeholder communication, drive requirements gathering and documentation, evaluate and implement technical solutions, ensure rigorous quality control and deliver data-driven insights to optimize our business. This self-motivated and energetic individual is a proactive, dynamic professional with sharp analytical skills and a keen intuition for core business objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring: Organize and coordinate stakeholders to plan approaches that enable success.Elicitation and Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across Guardian to elicit and document all business/systems requirements for reports, processes and system implementations on approved projects.Requirements Lifecycle Management: Develop process maps, gather requirements and document them in formal Business Requirement Documents, writing scope documents, detailed design/specification documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases; manage evolving changes to requirements through the life of the project.Strategy Analysis: Develop strategies to effectively apply the capabilities of the organization to meet business objectives.Requirements Analysis and Design Definition: Liaise with stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify and evaluate options and estimate the value of each solution;Solution Evaluation: Evaluate options and recommend solution approaches to maximize the business value delivered.QUALIFICATIONS:Post-secondary education in Business or Information TechnologyIIBA and/or Lean certification an assetPrior experience with Eagle Systems and other portfolio accounting platforms5 years of experience with project management principles, requirements gathering, business and technical documentation and report writing5 years of experience within the asset management industry preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and VisioExperience in SQL and Data Warehouses an assetKnowledge of CRM applications (Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Salesforce) and/or systems applications such as Charles River, EagleExperience in diverse project delivery environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create meaningful reports and deliver compelling presentationsProven planning and time management skillsAnalytical problem-solving skillsExceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative in a team environment
