Casino Ajax is seeking a Dual Surveillance Supervisor! Under the general direction of the Surveillance Manager or designate, this position is responsible for daily on‑going monitoring and observation of casino operations, while ensuring the security and integrity of casino assets, staff and guests. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities to govern over a high‑paced, pressured environment. You will be accountable for the staff, assigning duties, briefing and monitoring employees, and overseeing occurrences as they develop, while maintaining policies and procedures and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

  • Supervising, managing and delegating surveillance operators’ daily tasks, duties, and maintaining awareness of all gaming operations at all times.

  • Communicating effectively and interacting with internal and external customers while delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Being reliable, diligent and maintaining a high level of integrity.

  • Safeguarding confidential information and preventing its improper disclosure or use.

  • Investigating, reporting and documenting all irregular, unusual, suspicious, or illegal activities.

  • Maintaining and verifying logs, entering information into trackers and timesheets, and preparing and verifying departmental reports.

  • Monitoring, documenting and reporting violations, unauthorized access, large cash/cash‑equivalent transactions, trespassed and self‑excluded guests (not limited to).

  • Storing records securely for evidence purposes.

  • Monitoring and reporting on the conditions of surveillance facilities and equipment; performing preventative maintenance on equipment as required.

  • Providing training and coaching to all new team members.

  • Assisting the management team with projects as needed.

  • Ensuring health and safety directives are followed and other statutory regulations.

  • Performing other duties as directed by the surveillance manager or designate.

  • Ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations and applicable laws and policies.

  • Knowledge of table games and the gaming industry considered an asset.

  • Ability to work all shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).

  • Responsible for the supervision and performance management of surveillance operators.


Successful Applicants Will Demonstrate The Following Qualifications



  • Secondary school diploma, with preference to graduates with post‑secondary education in law, security, or criminology.

  • A minimum of one year of surveillance or security related experience, with preference to supervisory experience of at least one year.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, observational, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive and solution‑oriented skills with strong problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.

  • Knowledge of computer applications – MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service‑oriented communication.

  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant (license) with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.


Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. The hours of work will be based on operational needs. Ready to embark on your next adventure?
