District Sales Manager – Commercial Insurance


Location: Mississauga, Ontario | Hybrid


Our client, a well-established and respected insurance organization, is seeking a District Sales Manager to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated insurance professional who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving strategic growth, and mentoring others to succeed.


As a District Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in supporting regional growth while developing and coaching a team of Commercial Insurance Specialists. You will leverage your industry expertise to strengthen client relationships, grow key accounts, and create an environment where your team can thrive and perform at a high level.


Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to the region’s strategic direction, including market growth initiatives, budgeting, and recruitment planning.


What You’ll Be Doing



  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Insurance Specialists

  • Drive strategic initiatives to grow market share within the region

  • Maintain and expand key commercial client relationships

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on regional strategic planning and budgeting

  • Support recruitment and development of top talent within the team

  • Foster a positive, high-performance, team-focused culture


What We’re Looking For



  • Post-secondary education (College or University preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance

  • Past and proven leadership or team development experienceStrong strategic thinking and business development skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching abilities

  • A competitive mindset with a strong drive for results

  • A collaborative, team-first approach to leadership
