Director, Research Programs
Innovation Saskatchewan is seeking a Director, Research Programs.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Research Investments & Policy, the Director, Research Programs plays a key role in advancing Saskatchewan's Research Strategy and strengthening the provinces life sciences sector.
This role leads the administration of the Innovation & Science Fund (ISF), a key investment tool fuelling groundbreaking research and emerging technologies while building strong relationships with program recipients and partners, monitoring outcomes and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven evaluation and strategic insights.
The position is responsible for identifying trends, gaps and opportunities in the innovation ecosystem, shaping forward‑thinking policies and programs that accelerate commercialization and attract talent, partnerships and investment. From artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technologies to life sciences and intellectual property (IP) strategies, your work will help elevate Saskatchewan as a hub for innovation and economic growth.
