Job Description
Live Assets IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Director of Software Development. The successful candidate will lead the software development department to spread a culture of software development.Set standards and guidelines for the development process, coding standards, and deliver projects in accordance with Enterprise Architecture and Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure application design to manage and maintain data security and integrity.
- Help communication upward as well as throughout project teams.
- Mentor managers to implement best practices to motivate and organize their teams.
- Work closely with Product owners, business teams and project managers to define the short-term deliverables and long-term application roadmap and complete development activities on time and to required scope.
- Develop and maintain KPIs for code quality, stability, scalability and apply the tools and processes required.
- Leading and helping team that resolves day-to-day technical issues related to development, code integration and DevOps
- Strives to automate with DevOps and support an efficient CI/CD pipeline
Necessary Skills
- Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in SDLC and managing geographically distributed and remote teams
- Extensive experience in managing large enterprise software development, SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and process automation.
- Expertise and knowledge in cloud technologies such as Azure and cloud-based development strategies such as serverless web applications.
- Knowledge of Object-oriented analysis and design, relational databases and data design, knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience in RESTful APIs design and development.
