Role and Facility Information
The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo.
Practice Sites
- Nanaimo Regional Hospital
- West Coast General Hospital
- Tofino General Hospital
- Oceanside Urgent Care
- Private imaging office
Core Responsibilities
Applicants will provide all facets of medical imaging services, including minor interventional procedures, breast imaging and screening, as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
- Preference for candidates with subspecialty training or significant clinical experience.
- Experience with breast imaging, including screening, is an asset.
- Comfortable with minor interventional procedures.
- Will consider a variety of specialty interests/training.
