Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety standards are met

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the food industry
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Experience in customer service roles that involve serving, cashiering, or retail math demonstrates your ability to connect with guests and manage transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic math skills are highly valued for this role
• Restaurant or café experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment is essential

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
