About Us
Outworks Property Services is a growing landscaping and hardscaping company specializing in high quality paver patios, retaining walls, and large scale outdoor transformations. We take pride in craftsmanship, leadership, and delivering projects that stand out.
We are looking for an experienced Hardscape Crew Lead who can run projects confidently and efficiently.
Position Overview
This is a leadership role. You will be responsible for managing a hardscaping crew, operating trucks and trailers, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to high quality standards.
This is not an entry level labour position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a hardscaping crew on-site
- Build and oversee installation of:
- Paver patios
- Retaining walls
- French drains and proper drainage systems

- Read site layouts and execute project plans
- Operate company truck and trailer (materials & equipment transport)
- Coordinate workflow and maintain job efficiency
- Ensure safety standards are followed
- Maintain clean, organized job sites
- Communicate clearly with management and clients when required
Requirements
- Proven experience building paver patios and retaining walls
- Strong understanding of base prep, grading, and drainage
- Experience installing French drains
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Comfortable driving truck with trailer
- Ability to manage and motivate a crew
- Physically capable of handling demanding outdoor work
- Strong problem-solving skills on large scale projects
Preferred
- Experience operating skid steers or mini excavators
- Leadership experience in landscaping or construction
- Ability to read landscape plans
