Reporting to the Executive Managing Director, you will collaborate with the Danier Ecommerce and Senior Management sales teams to support the successful implementation of all direct-to-consumer marketing activities across digital and bricks-and-mortar channels.

The focus of you and your team will be the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy, including all creative marketing assets, social media, email, and website content and campaigns, and in-store retail promotions and signage.

What you will do…


•Develop, lead and work alongside a team of creative marketing professionals in implementing DANIER’s omni-channel retail marketing strategy to generate revenue and brand engagement

•Directly or indirectly oversee the execution of the following components of the DANIER direct-to-consumer marketing strategy and campaigns

•Collaborate in planning all email, website, social media and in-store advertising and promotions


•Ideate, write, edit, and/or create and distribute content on appropriate platforms and channels, and measure marketing activity results in driving consumer engagement and conversion

•Develop and maintain content calendars and support day-to-day management of all marketing and social media channels and platforms

•Shoot, edit, and post engaging visual content for multi-platform use

•Review and report on effectiveness and performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns using relevant KPI’s and metrics


•Manage social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, including content conception, planning and activation

•Collaborate in day-to-day email marketing initiatives, including copy creation, scheduling, segmentation, A/B testing and data analysis

•Write and edit sophisticated and compelling copy for all marketing campaigns consistent with brand guidelines

•Optimize landing page experience and customer journey design to drive improved campaign performance


•Develop, negotiate and manage influencers proposals and relationships consistent with luxury brand image and aesthetics

•Ensure website is updated to reflect key products, categories and events to drive business objectives and maximize conversion rate

•Create and update promotional content including the homepage, campaign landing pages and fashion collection releases

•Develop reports on emerging social media and industry trends, review analytics, and report on KPIs and metrics


•Establish and maintain design standards, and the look, feel and tone of DANIER brand throughout all marketing assets and channels

•Conceive and design advertising and promotional content such as landing page, web banners, emails

•Partner with Customer Care team and monitor social media community activity to develop and maintain brand voice and drive positive customer engagement through timely responses to messages, comments and inquiries

•Adhere to all company-wide policies, values, processes, procedures, and requirements and health and safety guidelines


•Participate in graphic design and related special projects, and perform other duties and assignments as required.

What you bring to the team….


•Equivalent of post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, business or retail-oriented field of study

•Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive social media, marketing or retail/eCommerce direct-to-consumer experience with an understanding of and adherence to strict brand guidelines

•Previous leadership experience with ability to build, lead and work alongside a small team


•Appreciation for a North American luxury fashion aesthetic and brand look and feel

•Knowledge of fashion, art or culture and comprehensive understanding of the apparel eCommerce industry, including competitive and marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, audience content consumption behaviors and trends

•Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop to oversee design of visually appealing store banners and collateral showcasing our products, sales, and brand identity across multiple digital platforms; ability to edit, color correct and retouch photos if required

•Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and demonstrated technical expertise in major social media platforms and related best practices such as


Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube

•Experience with Canva, Mail-chimp, Klavyio, or other email deployment platforms strongly preferred

•Photography and design skills with previous fashion photo shoot and videography experience an asset

•Fluent English oral and written communication skills with strong composition, grammar and spelling essential; proficiency in French and multilingual communications an asset


•Good interpersonal, supervisory and communication skills

•Ability to solve problems, use critical thinking and apply sound judgment

•Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual aesthetics

•Self-starter with ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate as a team player


•Hard working, positive, can-do attitude with ability to accept and learn from feedback

•Resourceful with ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, multitask while flexible to adapt quickly to changing priorities and working under pressure and within time constraints
