GFL is looking to hire a Corporate Recruitment Lead based out of our Vaughan Corporate Office!. The Corporate Recruitment Lead will oversee the corporate recruitment function across North America providing leadership and support to corporate recruiters, while also actively recruiting for the business. They will also serve as an ambassador of the GFL culture and core values across all internal and external relationships providing a great candidate experience while supporting hiring managers with their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and drive GFL’s North American Corporate Recruitment Program
Oversee productivity and effectiveness of the corporate recruitment team and provide support through mentorship, coaching, and regular one-to-one conversations
Support recruitment for all professional service functions at GFL across a variety of departments and levels of seniority
Locate, evaluate, and assist in the securing of top talent using your established network in conjunction with various GFL recruitment tools, industry and vendor supports
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of each departments role, culture and character
Prepare and train hiring managers on effective candidate management, sourcing and interviewing practices to drive an exceptional candidate experience
Attend recruiting opportunities, job fairs and networking events as required
Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges, organizations and industry partners to maintain knowledge of most recent best practices in talent, aided by social media, virtual and live networking events
Extend employment agreements and offer letters to selected candidates and support hiring managers with negotiations


Requirements:

3-5 years of experience recruiting for a high-volume organization, agency, or executive search firm
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:


Willing to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants
Familiar with applicant tracking systems and social media applications
Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns
Professional, courteous demeanor on the phone, online and in-person
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network and establish professional relationships
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines
Ability to work and travel between Canada & the U.S
