Permanent</p><p>·         On-Site</p><p>·         Schedule: Monday to Thursday (Day Shift)</p><p>·         Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.</p><p> </p><p><b><strong>Location: </strong></b>Cornwall Road, Oakville, ON</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Summary:</strong></b></p><p><br /></p><p>As a <b><strong>Control System Tester</strong></b>, you will assist the organization to scale up our discrete manufacturing team. You will be focusing on the assembly and testing of electronic displays in our growing manufacturing area; ensuring all products are built to the highest level of quality while following all standard work and best practices as documented in current work instructions.</p><p> </p><p>Our ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, but who is also able to work autonomously on daily tasks. This position will be within the Manufacturing Operations team and will report to the Product & Project Engineering Manager.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:</strong></b></p><p> </p><p>·         Perform functional testing of LED digital display, including electrical testing, relay testing, and embedded control systems.</p><p>·         Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical, hardware, software, and network issues by reviewing technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagram.</p><p>·         Conduct test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate performances.</p><p>·         Imaging and preparing PC by installing OS, drivers, and required software.</p><p>·         Configuring modems, cameras, routers for IP address, firmware, including network settings, port forwarding, and security options and conducting integral functioning with the digital display.</p><p>·         Perform testing using multimeter, Luminance and Colour Meter.</p><p>·         Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and 48-hour burn-in test procedures, record data, and analyze results.</p><p>·         Complete checklist and maintain test records, logs, and detailed reports on system performance, failures, and fixes.</p><p>·         Provide feedback to engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.</p><p>·         Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams.</p><p>·         Daily follow up on implementation and maintenance of quality standards.</p><p>·         Create comprehensive reports from daily collected data, document, and enter them into the ERP system.</p><p>·         Strictly follow health and safety procedures and protocols by working in compliance with OSHA, NEC, UL and CSA.</p><p>·         Work with IT for cyber security guidelines.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Requirements / Qualifications:</strong></b></p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Academic Training:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Diploma or high school certificate</li></ul><p>·         Completion of a one- or two-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology is an asset.</p><p>·         Certification in electrical or electronics engineering technology or in a related field is available through provincial associations of <span >engineering/applied</span> science technologists and technicians is an asset.</p><p><b><strong> </strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Work Experience:</strong></b></p><ul><li>1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry</li></ul><p><b><strong>Specific Competencies:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Experience testing electronic devices and in Quality Control</li><li>Ability to work overtime as necessary.</li><li>Familiar with using personal protective equipment (glasses, gloves, etc.)</li></ul><p>·         Must be proactive and take accountability of assigned projects.</p></p>Company Description<p>Media Resources Inc. is one of the top-performing companies in the Signage Industry, and it is a place that offers big growth possibilities.
