Contract Professional
Job Description
MatchBox Consulting is on the hunt for a contract professional. This candidate will be responsible for post-award contract management on construction, installation, and design-build projects. Ensures contracts are administered accurately, progress payments are processed, and contract closeouts are completed efficiently. Provides contractual guidance and acts as a subject matter expert for project teams.
Contract: 2 years
Key Responsibilities
- Draft change orders, contract letters, and internal justification documents.
- Detail contracts and Statements of Quantities / Progress Payment Estimates.
- Progress monthly invoices and maintain contract records in project management systems.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and disputes.
- Collaborate with procurement on RFx documents.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure contract compliance.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Education & Skills
- Minimum 5 years post-award contract management experience with a focus on construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken.
Nice-to-Have
- Onsite construction experience working directly with construction managers.
- Engineering degrees considered an asset.
