Construction Surveyor – Heavy Civil & Machine Control
Based in Lethbridge, AB
Projects Across Alberta, Saskatchewan & British Columbia
Rotation & Project-Based Work Available
We are a growing geospatial services company specializing in construction survey, machine control support, and GPS-integrated heavy equipment operations.
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our field team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing layout and construction staking for heavy civil and infrastructure projects
- Supporting GPS-controlled heavy equipment and machine control systems
- Operating GNSS and total stations for control and production layout
- Verifying grades, surfaces, and design implementation
- Assisting with QA/QC and as-built data collection
- Coordinating with supervisors, foremen, and equipment operators
This role is hands-on and field-based. You will be directly supporting production crews.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of construction survey experience preferred, all levels of experience are considered
- Strong understanding of GNSS and total station workflows
- Experience supporting machine control systems (Trimble, Topcon, Leica) is a strong asset
- Ability to read drawings and interpret grading plans
- Comfortable working in remote and rotational environments
- Valid driver's license
- RPAS and UAV experience an asset
