<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Concrete Form Worker</p><p></p><p>We are currently seeking Concrete Form Workers for concrete projects located in Saskatoon. </p><p>We offer competitive wages, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, and training.</p><p></p><p>Duties include (but are not limited to):</p><ul><li>Build, erect and align forms for various concrete structures and pier foundations utilizing bar-paneled concrete forming systems.</li><li>Install rebar and tie rebar.</li><li>Dismantle concrete forms.</li><li>Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder, etc.<br /></li><li>Provide assistance to other workers and foreman as necessary.</li><li>Perform rough levelling and shaping of concrete surfaces.</li><li>Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency.</li><li>Perform the setting of anchor bolts for foundations.</li><li>Physical tasks, including sweeping, lifting, shoveling, wheelbarrowing, and moving heavy materials</li><li>Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed</li><li>Actively participate in all safety meetings</li><li>General site housekeeping</li></ul><p></p><p>Required Skills:</p><ul><li>Previous concrete formwork experience is required<br /></li><li>Understand how to use power/small tools such as plate tampers, carb saws, etc.</li><li>Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions</li><li>Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs</li><li>Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner</li><li>Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day</li><li>Positive attitude / team player</li><li>Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction</li></ul></p></p>
