As Softchoice’s newest Commercial Account Executive, you help businesses seize the enormous opportunities of digital transformation. To do so, you challenge customers out of their comfort zone, while sustaining and strengthening our relationships along the way. Best of all, you do it all alongside one of North America’s most trusted technology services and solutions providers.
This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Toronto office once a week as well as 20% - 30% travel for on site client visits.
What you’ll do
- Lead with the customer at the forefront, treating selling as a strategic partnership, and providing data-driven insights.
- Drive growth by taking customers into the digital transformation journey, using personalized insights, compelling cases for change and innovation.
- Collaborate with partners and executives from leading technology companies to deliver fresh solutions.
- Maintain a strong pipeline, manage relationships, and demonstrate leadership when challenges arise.
- Support Softchoice’s vision of growth through continuous self‑improvement with training, education, and community resources.
What you’ll bring to the table
- 3-5 years experience in B2B technology sales.
- Proven as a tenacious sales person, pursuing net new clients, developing business and networking with passion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
- Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A driven, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay for this position is $67,500 annually plus 50% as target incentives.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
