Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager of Google Workplace and Collaboration to lead a high‑performing team supporting multi‑cloud initiatives across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and various SaaS integrations. This role oversees cloud architecture, deployment, security governance, and stakeholder engagement while managing a team of seven engineers and administrators.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, technically strong, and confident presenting technical solutions to leadership. They bring deep cloud expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing people and enterprise‑level cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities

Collaboration & Cloud Administration

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and administrator for Google Workspace and related collaboration tools.
  • Manage and support GCP and Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring secure, efficient cloud operations.
  • Administer and integrate AWS and other SaaS platforms as needed.

ITIL Governance

  • Apply strong knowledge of the ITIL framework.
  • Own and execute Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes for collaboration services.

Automation & Monitoring

  • Develop and implement robust infrastructure monitoring strategies.
  • Partner with the automation function to reduce manual operational tasks.

Project Management

  • Create detailed technical project plans.
  • Lead execution of complex cloud migration and collaboration‑related projects from initiation through completion.

Product & Technology Strategy

  • Work closely with Infrastructure Architecture to evaluate and select collaboration technologies and SaaS tools.
  • Ensure product choices align with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Maintain governance and the long‑term collaboration architecture roadmap.

Risk & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with process owners and site leaders.
  • Proactively identify business risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Training & Communication

  • Assess training needs and deliver education to drive adoption of collaboration tools.
  • Communicate governance and operational objectives to foster continuous improvement
