The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with DevOps, AI/ML, and embedded engineering teams to create a cohesive system designed for scale and reliability.</p><p>This is not just another cloud engineering role-this is an opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure powering the future of edge-based computer vision and AI.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services that support telemetry, fleet management, and edge configuration.</li><li>Architect scalable ingestion pipelines for streaming video, metrics, and metadata from distributed edge environments.</li><li>Ensure high availability and security with robust multi-tenant controls, role-based access, and secure integration frameworks.</li><li>Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments to support seamless deployments and DevOps scalability.</li><li>Collaborate with edge engineering teams to integrate cloud-side tuning parameters, monitoring hooks, and performance analytics.</li><li>Participate in architecture discussions for disaster recovery, cost optimization, and cross-cloud resilience.</li><li>Maintain internal and external APIs and SDKs for partner and developer enablement.</li><li>Assist in operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and participation in on-call support rotations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years of experience in backend/cloud/platform engineering roles.</li><li>Deep proficiency in at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core service areas (IAM, compute, networking, and storage).</li><li>Strong programming experience in backend languages such as Go, Python, or Java.</li><li>Experience designing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes.</li><li>Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts including resilience, scaling, and message-based architectures.</li><li>Expertise in observability tooling-logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.</li></ul><p><strong>Bonus Points For:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis) for event-driven architectures.</li><li>Background in ML or computer vision platforms (e.g., model deployment, feature stores, ML pipelines).</li><li>Familiarity with industrial connectivity, OT systems, or IoT platform integration.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Culture:</strong></p><p>This is a collaborative, fast-paced startup culture where innovation and ownership are valued.
