Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology/Social Work
Membership in good standing with a licensing body
Minimum Of 5 Years' Experience Providing Counselling
Active liability insurance
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
A good working knowledge of EFT, CBT, Narrative Therapy or Solution Focused Therapy models and protocols
Thorough understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is considered an asset
Demonstrated Experience Conducting Individual Psychotherapy
An understanding of and training in Trauma Informed Therapy
Commitment to ethics and professionalism
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary mental health team
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Clear commitment to client centered care
Competency in other languages an asset
Compensation: Fee split
