Job Description
Under the direction of the Director, the Clinical Leader will promote quality improvement activities facilitating a safe and therapeutic environment for the provision of care; participate in financial responsibility by utilizing resources in the most efficient manner; assist with measurement and evaluation of clinical performance; identify and follow up on opportunities for continuous improvement; support and lead change; facilitate exemplary communication both internal to program and within other programs and agencies and promote team spirit, cohesiveness, motivation and commitment to program goals.
1. Baccalaureate Degree in Health Sciences
2. All professionals must hold a current affiliation/membership with their respective governing Practice College (as applicable)
3. Minimum of 5 years recent (within the last 2 years) relevant practice in pediatrics
4. Skill in supporting and mentoring professional staff to enhance knowledge skill and judgment within their practice
5. Demonstrated leadership and co-ordination skills in a fast paced environment
6. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in the delivery of patient care services
7. Demonstrated excellence in communication, team-building, and ability to initiate, model and support change in a constructive manner
8. Demonstrated advanced critical thinking skills
9. Demonstrated ability and knowledge to access and utilize hospital resources
10. Demonstrated evidence of continuous education and life long learning
11. Demonstrated commitment to the mission, vision and values of HHS and MCH
