Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional patient service, managing appointment scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties

  • Manage patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and empathy
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of provider schedules
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing or payment questions
  • Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and address any scheduling conflicts or concerns
  • Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders, test results, or post-visit instructions
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management to support clinic operations
  • Assist with clinic cleanliness following health and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred, especially within dental or healthcare practices
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) systems is essential
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Office experience demonstrating proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite or similar)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
