Childcare Assistant
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a classroom setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
- Monitor and document children's progress and behavior
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive learning environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
Note: Early Childhood Education level 1 or a related field is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
