Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client, We are seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead estimating for deep foundation, shoring, piling, and structural concrete projects. This role oversees the full tendering process, develops competitive bid strategies, and manages the estimating team for complex civil and geotechnical construction projects.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage estimating for deep foundation and concrete projects.
· Prepare and review quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid submissions.
· Analyze drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
· Develop pricing strategies and identify project risks.
· Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Mentor and supervise estimating staff.
Qualifications
· 8+ years estimating experience in civil construction, deep foundations, shoring, or piling.
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment productivity, and costing.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Preferred
· P.Eng or eligibility in Alberta.
· Experience with large infrastructure or commercial construction projects.
