Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive kitchen experience, and a deep understanding of food safety and preparation standards. Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards
  • Develop new recipes and menu items to enhance customer experience and meet culinary trends
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
  • Serve as a leader in food safety practices, ensuring all team members comply with industry standards
  • Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Supervising experience with team management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and best practices in the food industry
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a culinary team
  • Excellent understanding of restaurant management operations and customer service excellence
  • Skilled in food handling, kitchen organization, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; culinary certification is a plus
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and courteously
