Job Title: YouTube Channel Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a YouTube Channel Manager. If you have a passion for digital content, a keen eye for analytics, and a love for all things YouTube, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Channel Management:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s YouTube channels.
- Collaborate with Channels Managers, Project Coordinators, and the editing team to maintain a consistent daily upload cadence.
- Ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
Content Optimization:
- Work closely with the visual design team and copywriters to optimize videos before uploading.
- Cut clips and create engaging video compilations.
- Proactively manage channel page-level updates, including channel trailers and featured lists.
Performance Monitoring and Insights:
- Monitor daily performance metrics at the video, format, title, and channel levels.
- Identify noteworthy indicators and suggest optimization strategies based on insights.
- Stay up-to-date with platform updates and trends, collaborating with Channels Managers to implement corresponding recommendations.
Reporting:
- Assist in compiling YouTube reports as needed.
- Ensure that all channels adhere to YouTube’s best practices and COPPA rules.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year working in the broadcast industry.
- Previous experience with YouTube, including an understanding of YouTube channels, best practices, and the digital landscape.
- Familiarity with Adobe tools.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret video performance data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying optimization opportunities.
