In this people-centric role, you’ll be pivotal in managing the cumulative impact of change, ensuring our team members are fully supported and adeptly prepared to embrace and thrive amidst new technologies and evolving processes.JOB STATEMENT:Lead the evolution of change management, shaping practices that drive Guardian Capital’s growth. Reporting to the Senior Director, PMO, the Change Management Lead will be pivotal in developing and executing change management strategies across the organization.

Your role involves understanding the intricacies of change within large-scale technology and operational transformations. You will be responsible for leading change initiatives, assessing the change impact, ensuring employee readiness, and aligning these changes with our strategic objectives. As an adept communicator, you will engage with various stakeholders, manage resistance, facilitate training and development, and drive the adoption of new processes and technologies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:Change Management Strategy: Develop, implement, and integrate comprehensive change management plans tailored to individual projects and programs.Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders and change champions, manage their expectations, and ensure their support and buy-in for change initiatives.Communication and Training: Design and execute effective communication and training strategies to facilitate smooth transitions for employees, considering different learning styles, the overall change impact, and minimizing change fatigue for employees.Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously track the progress and impact of change initiatives including the benefits realized, addressing possible change conflicts, risks, and providing regular updates to senior management to assist with strategic planning of the various change initiatives.Integration Management: Oversee the smooth integration of new acquisitions and technologies into existing operations, ensuring minimal disruption by monitoring the change impact, possible change conflict, and volume of change being introduced.Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine change management practices to enhance their effectiveness monitoring for change saturation.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) highly desirable.5+ years of experience in change management within the financial services or a related industry.Proven track record of managing large-scale change initiatives, particularly in technology and operational transformations.Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization and lead stakeholders towards a shared vision.Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with an ability to manage complex projects and drive decision-making.Experience with collaboration tools such as Office 365, MS Teams, OneDrive is an asset.Advanced problem-solving capabilities and resilience in handling organizational change.Collaborative team player with a focus on collective goals.Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.Guardian Capital Group is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees feel valued, respected, and supported.
