A patients family is seeking a caregiver for a female patient who has expressed a preference for a same-sex caregiver for personal care services. Patient is an elderly lady with mid- to late-stage dementia who has mobility challenges (uses a rollator walker).

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. (4 hours per day)
  
  
• Total: 20 hours per week
  
  
• Occasional extra hours may be available
  
  

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Location: Approximately a 15-minute walk from the nearest bus stop (for those using public transit).

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• certifies PSW with experience in handling wheelchair-bounded patient

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Salary Range:

• $20 per hout
