A patient’s family is seeking a caregiver for a female patient who has expressed a preference for a same‑sex caregiver for personal care services. The patient is an elderly lady with mid‑to‑late‑stage dementia who has mobility challenges (uses a rollator walker).
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (4 hours per day)
- Total: 20 hours per week
- Occasional extra hours may be available
Pay Rate
$20 per hour
Location
Approximately a 15‑minute walk from the nearest bus stop (for those using public transit).
What we are looking for
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- certifies PSW with experience in handling wheelchair‑bounded patient
What you will be doing
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Salary Range
- $20 per hout
