Job Title: Dealership Lot Attendant

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our dealership team as a Lot Attendant. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our dealership’s lot. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly parked, organized, and prepared for display or delivery. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Management: Ensure vehicles are properly parked, organized, and displayed in designated areas of the lot.
  • Lot Maintenance: Regularly inspect the lot for cleanliness and organization; perform tasks such as sweeping, picking up debris, and arranging vehicles as needed.
  • Vehicle Preparation: Assist with vehicle detailing and preparation for display or delivery, including washing, waxing, and interior cleaning.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of vehicle inventory, including location, condition, and key information.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner; assist with directing them to appropriate areas or personnel as needed.
  • Assist Sales Team: Support the sales team by moving vehicles as requested, providing access to vehicles for test drives, and ensuring vehicles are ready for customer viewings.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including those related to vehicle movement and handling hazardous materials.
  • Other Duties: Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the dealership.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Experience:

  • Car Dealership: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
