JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Software Developer to join the Group IT team at a leading insurance company. This person will be supporting the development of a brand‑new dashboard that is replacing the existing web application with a Progressive Web App (PWA). This role is backend‑focused, working primarily with C# and .NET, with some exposure to React on the frontend. The developer will support business‑critical functionality and play a key role in the modernization of the application platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
  • Support the build and enhancement of a new dashboard replacing the current Equitable Health web application
  • Contribute to the transition from a traditional web application to a Progressive Web App (PWA)
  • Participate in daily stand‑ups and work in a heads‑down development environment
  • Develop and maintain core business functionality, including Beneficiary forms and Overaged student forms

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years as a C#/.Net Developer
  • API development experience
  • MySQL Server
  • React experience

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Azure DevOps Experience
  • Group Insurance/Insurance/Financial Services
