Automotive, Rail and Transportation to Information Systems and Telecommunications, our unwavering commitment to excellence shaping the future of technology and industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Our client in the <b>water treatment sector</b> is seeking a <b>Buyer Specialist</b> to support daily procurement operations and ensure timely availability of materials for production and projects.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibility </b></p><ul><li>Research and select quality products and materials</li><li>Create and manage purchase orders in SAP</li><li>Update inventory and monitor stock levels</li><li>Participate in kick-off and production meetings</li><li>Work with suppliers on order follow-ups (no negotiation)</li><li>Coordinate transportation and material deliveries</li><li>Analyze market trends to support supply planning</li></ul><p><b>Requirement </b></p><ul><li>Experience with SAP and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes</li><li>Strong skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)</li><li>Leadership mindset with strong communication skills</li></ul><p><b>Nice to Have</b></p><ul><li>Logistics or supply chain experience</li><li>Background in water treatment, automotive, or Oil & Gas</li><li>Commercial background</li><li>French language skills</li></ul><p><b>Soft Skills</b></p><ul><li>Proactive and takes initiative</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join Us?</b></p><p>ALTEN Canada fosters a dynamic, collaborative work environment where every team member is empowered to reach their full potential.
