As our Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Prospect for new business opportunities within existing and greenfield accounts through cold call and email outreach. 
  • Identify prospect pain points and clearly articulate the Firmex value proposition to drive further interest in a call or product demonstration with the Sales Executive team. 
  • Build contact lists of highly qualified prospects using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and Sales Executive teams to execute campaigns focused on driving demand within targeted industries and strategic accounts. 
  • Record all sales activity and intelligence in Salesforce and report on success metrics.
  • What you’ll need to be successful as a Business Development Representative:

  • 6-12 months of B2B sales experience or a recent post-secondary graduate eager to begin a career in B2B technology sales. 
  • A ‘hunter’ mentality- a competitive mindset with a strong desire to win. 
  • Resilient attitude with a focus on continuous improvement. 
  • Ability to contribute individually and work within a strong team culture. 
  • Excellent written, presentation, and demonstration skills. 
  • Highly diplomatic and respectful. 
  • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Groove is a plus.
