Salary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new client acquisition through proactive outreach, cold calling, and consultative selling. This role is focused on generating net-new logos, opening doors with decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term managed services clients. The ideal candidate is comfortable with high-volume outbound activity, excels at relationship building, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.


New Business Development

  • Prospect, qualify, and pursue net-new clients through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking.
  • Build and manage a consistent outbound pipeline.
  • Target decision-makers including CEOs, CFOs, Operations Managers, and IT Leaders.
  • Identify opportunities for managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT consulting solutions.
  • Book qualified discovery meetings for deeper technical assessments.

Sales Execution

  • Conduct needs-based discovery and uncover pain points.
  • Present solutions in collaboration with technical and account management teams.
  • Prepare proposals and pricing aligned with company standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and deal tracking in CRM.

Pipeline & Activity Management

  • Maintain daily/weekly activity targets (calls, emails, meetings).
  • Track leads, opportunities, and conversions.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline and performance.
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies.

Market & Relationship Development

  • Research industries, competitors, and market trends.
  • Build long-term relationships with new clients.
  • Represent the company at events and community functions when required.
  • Position the organization as a trusted IT partner.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Outbound activity volume (calls/emails/meetings)
  • Qualified meetings booked
  • New logos acquired
  • Monthly/Quarterly revenue closed
  • Pipeline coverage ratio
  • Conversion rates

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or outbound prospecting
  • Proven success in cold calling and lead generation
  • Experience selling services or solutions (IT/MSP experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems
  • Self-driven and results-oriented
