Business Development Lead

Local Handyman is a fast-growing home services brand, and we are locally owned and operated. We're modernizing the handyman experience with professional service, clear communication, and care—for homeowners and businesses alike.

The Opportunity

We're building our Hamilton presence and looking for a sales-oriented relationship builder to turn community connections into held estimates and booked jobs. You'll cultivate partnerships with property managers, realtors, HOAs/apartments, and local businesses, represent our brand at events, and—when appropriate—price and close straightforward work from our price book. You'll report to the owner and help shape how we grow.

What You'll Do

Business Development:

  • Build, nurture, and expand partnerships that drive steady job bookings.
  • Target lists; regular meetings with PMs, realtors, inspectors, mortgage and home-service pros, small businesses.
  • Attend high-value networking events; present our services to groups

Lead Handling & Customer Service:

  • Field inbound calls; answer questions; schedule simple jobs from our price book or hand off cleanly to an estimator and follow through to decision

Tracking & Reporting:

  • Keep disciplined CRM hygiene (source tagging, notes, outcomes) and use insights to prioritize where to hunt next

What You'll Bring

  • A positive, self-starting mindset with outstanding follow-up/follow-through
  • 3+ years in sales/business development with a track record of closing
  • Knowledge of the Hamilton market and comfort working face-to-face in the field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to small groups
  • Ability to research local opportunities and spot partnership potential
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for client visits (company signage optional)

Nice to Have: Experience in home services, restoration, remodeling, pest, or HVAC; CRM proficiency; connections across Hamilton real estate and property management.
