We are looking for a Business Analyst with HRIS experience for a 5 months contract with high possibility of extension.

Role is hybrid with 3 days a week in Downtown Toronto.


Key Accountabilities:

o Lead detailed requirement phases by identifying, tracking, and documenting existing business processes, systems, and issues.

o Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

o Assess, research, analyze, and document sponsor/stakeholder needs.

o Review and assess capabilities within existing and planned institutional HRIS systems (including SAP S/4HANA On Premise HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central).

o Create detailed process maps to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis, and for training use.

o Manage project documentation in preparation for the implementation stage of the project.

o Identify risks and develop/recommend mitigation strategies.

o Seeks input from the business by facilitating sessions.

o Develop and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders, business partners, and internal/external team members.

Identify issues and escalate or manage resolution as required

Must have

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information

Technology, or related field.

o Proven Business Analyst experience (8 years) in HR analysis, system implementation, or related


o Business Analyst designation – would be an asset.

o Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA On Premise HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday,

PeopleSoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.

o Experience with SuccessFactors Recruitment – would be an asset.

o Experience in all/most facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project

management methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline.

o Experience in identifying and assessing key business processes.

o Ability to lead discussions on detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or

resolving business systems issues.

o Knowledgeable on business process modeling and process mapping.

o Excellent ability to write clear and well-structured business requirements documents.

o Advanced problem solving skills and ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics

for prior to escalation.

o Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work

successfully under pressure.
