Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bus Driver based in Toronto, ON. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and safety protocols. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining transportation schedules, providing a courteous experience for passengers, and reporting any mechanical issues or incidents. Adhering to company policies and ensuring passenger safety at all times are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
Minimiune 3 years experiece
- in driving highway coach and possession of a valid commercial BZ driver's license with the appropriate endorsements
- Knowledge of traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with passengers
- Ability to cross the border and manage schedules effectively and handle unforeseen circumstances during trips
- Attention to detail for conducting vehicle inspections and reporting issues accurately
- Previous experience in passenger transportation or public transit is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent education
