Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs and other assessments (VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, ABLLS‑R, etc.)
- Design and oversee individualized treatment plans (behavior reduction + skill acquisition)
- Provide training, supervision, and performance feedback to behavior technicians
- Collect and analyze data to make data‑driven treatment decisions and update plans
- Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams; provide parent/caregiver coaching
- Ensure treatment fidelity and adherence to BACB ethical standards
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and licensed in the state of Maryland
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles, methodologies, and interventions.
- Experience conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
- Ability to administer and interpret a variety of skills-based assessments such as VBMAPP, PEAK, AFLS, ABLLS-R.
- Ability to provide effective supervision, training, and support to staff members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and professionals.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA.
Physical/Other Requirements
- Must submit to a federal and state background check.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes.
- Current first aid and CPR certifications and willingness to complete background checks.
