About this Role:At ShopThing, we’re transforming the way people shop and sell through live video commerce. With ShopThing, anyone can be a seller!. We are looking for 10 Beta Testers: Live Sellers who will play a pivotal role in informing the product roadmap for our Seller Platform. As a Beta Tester: Live Seller, you will get paid to host live shopping events for our video marketplace.
Our proprietary technology allows you to create a shoppable video in under 30 seconds, allowing you to host these experiences in real-time as you shop. You’ll curate a selection of items daily with luxury retailers in your city, film short videos showcasing the product, build relationships with sales associates and retailers, and respond to customer inquiries. To improve the ShopThing Seller platform, you will work closely with the ShopThing team to provide regular feedback on your experience. Sellers are compensated via commission on sales!Responsibilities:Host live shopping events in the ShopThing App, curating a selection of products available for purchase by our customers dailyCommitment of hosting a minimum of 1 live shopping event per weekAdhere to event quality standardsEnsure accuracy and quality of products received for fulfillment purposes.Attend ShopThing focus groups bi-weeklyProvide platform feedback to inform the product roadmapShip customer orders to ShopThing’s Fulfillment Center within two business days of receiving an orderQualificationsThere are no formal qualifications required for this position.
