Barista/Cashier

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages for our customers. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
– Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
– Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
– Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
– Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
– Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as necessary
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
– Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise

Skills:
– Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
– Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
– Strong time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
– Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
– Prior experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required
– Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus

Salary: From $17.50 per hour
