Job Description
Avalon Ford-Fix Auto is a busy, high-quality collision repair facility committed to excellent craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow. We are looking for a Body Shop Foreman to lead our team and oversee daily operations.
The Shop Foreman will supervise technicians, coordinate repairs, maintain production schedules, and ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills. The idea candidate would posses good time management skills,
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support body technicians and painters
- Assign and monitor daily repair tasks
- Ensure repairs meet OEM and insurance standards
- Maintain production flow and meet cycle-time goals
- Perform quality control inspections before delivery
- Communicate with estimators and front office staff
- Manage parts ordering and workflow coordination
- Maintain a safe and organized shop environment
- Train and mentor technicians
- Handle customer or insurance-related concerns when needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of collision repair experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferred
- Strong knowledge of frame repair, structural repairs, and refinishing processes
- Ability to read estimates and repair procedures
- Experience working with DRP programs (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Clean record of conduct
- Posses a valid drivers license with drivers abstract
