Job Description
Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies is a Community of Expertise (CoE) in part of an overall partnership model created to provide superior strategic cross‑functional advice, analysis, support, decision making and resolution on a range of workforce planning and employment related matters. Workforce planning and employment strategies issues and programming are complex and constantly changing as a result of changes to provincial bargaining agreements, re‑alignment of services, the re‑alignment of client care groups, the changing landscape of work such as demographics, increasing retirements, and changing needs of clients. The Associate must have a broad understanding and sound knowledge of the various types of health care careers in order to effectively coordinate and plan programming and events and understand client needs. Knowledge of health service delivery in the province is also required as ongoing issues must be incorporated into planning. The Associate works in close collaboration with the Specialists on the team to provide support for daily workforce planning & employment issues/challenges that arise but also to assist with recruitment and retention programming and events.

- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
- Human Resources certificate
- Business diploma
- Business Certificate
- Business Administration certificate

- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

- Knowledge in applicable legislation and standards
