We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Architect with a minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working on-site with trades and preparing and submitting permit packages for high-rise buildings. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of local building codes are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and documents for residential and commercial projects.
Lead the coordination and submission of building permit packages, ensuring compliance with municipal requirements and the Ontario Building Code.
Attend construction sites to monitor progress and communicate directly with trades and consultants.
Support senior team members in design development, detailing, and document control.
Work on high-rise project developments through various stages of design and construction.
Coordinate with engineering consultants and municipal staff during permit and approval processes.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to permit submissions and project changes.
Ensure work adheres to established timelines, design standards, and construction schedules.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of architectural experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
Direct experience working on-site and coordinating with trades and consultants.
Proven ability to prepare and submit building permit packages, including knowledge of zoning bylaws and municipal submission requirements.
Experience working on high-rise developments (Preferred).
Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD and/or Revit); Adobe Suite knowledge is an asset.
Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code and local permit procedures.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
