Job Description
The main duties for the position consist of installing electrical systems, working with and learning from journeyman electricians, reading blueprints, and maintaining a clean worksite.
Electricians must conduct their work in line with the Ontario Electrical Code to ensure all work completed complies with the Ontario Regulations while abiding by the Deltro Health and Safety Program.
Duties:
- Install electrical systems
- Extra Low Voltage - Medium Voltage Electrical Installations
- Single Phase - Three Phase
- Motor Feeders Installations
- Power Distribution Systems
- Custom Control Panels
- Programmable Controllers
- Specialty Sensors
- Variable Frequency & DC Drives
- Read blueprints
- Maintain clean worksite through good housekeeping practices
Requirements:
- Mathematical knowledge
- 309a Construction & Maintenance apprenticeship preferred.
- Able to read and understand electrical prints
- Installation of conduit and wire
- Must have own hand tools
- Local travel will be required
- Knowledge of safety regulations and electrical code
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Professional behavior
- Good problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver's License

Salary: $18-$36 per hour

- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Apprentice electrical experience: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- 309a Construction & Maintenance apprenticeship
- Driver's license (preferred)
- Scissor lift/Elevated platform (preferred)

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
