Job Description
Out client is a brokerage specializing in importing and exporting between Canada and the US. They are growing and are looking to augment their IT department with 2 application developers.
These individuals will think creatively and possess extensive experience in Visual Studio .NET, C#, VB, and ASP for Windows and the Internet. You will carry out major development tasks and work in a team environment on complex enterprise level business applications. Experience in customs, importing, exporting, logistics, supply chain and transportation is considered an asset.
Education Requirements
- 4 Year University Degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent 3 Year College Diploma
Experience Requirements
- 5 years experience with c#, vb.net developing both client windows and web based software.
- 5+ years experience with SQL Server trigger and stored procedure development
- Competent with VBScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate technical constructs in user-friendly manner
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail
