Our client is looking to hire an AP analyst. The company is privately owned and operated with a focus on general contracting, construction and project management.
Duties of the AP Analyst is as follows but not limited to:
Post vendor bills
Track vendor bills vs. purchase order or subcontract limits
Print and distribute paper cheques when required
Make bank deposits
Provide relief support for our Admin Assistant (e.g. answering phone, arranging courier pickups, etc.)
Filing: Scanning incoming mail. Printing and filing documents emailed from remote workers
Scanning documents as required for audit or year-end purposes
Additional Duties: The AP Clerk/Bookkeeper may take on other duties depending on skills, experience, and the company’s requirements.

Required
QuickBooks Desktop working experience
Accounts Payable experience
Intermediate Excel
Available to start immediately
Preferred
Familiarity with job costing
Familiarity with a purchase order system
Intermediate skills with other office software such as Word, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
Small business bookkeeping experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
