Our clients’ Global Business Management, Global Wholesale Operations, Onboarding and Static Data Team have a laundry list of projects that are on-going as well as on the horizon and are looking for several Analysts to support them. The client’s needs can vary as for example our client needs User Acceptance as well as Business Acceptance Testing experience to assist with the hands-on UAT whereas other individuals would focus on the actual test case execution for the UAT. Working in our clients group you would gain specific experience in the capital markets businesses and experience liaising with IT. This group is directly involved in driving changes with cross-functional teams impacting business, technology and corporate support areas (especially Front Office and Operations) within Capital Markets and as an Analyst you will be instrumental in ensuring that the below projects are not only supported but fully transitioned to current state status.

A high standard of quality is required at all times in order to reduce operational risk. As the team continues to grow and evolve, we will also be working to introduce new controls to monitor daily processes across the source systems we support and increase efficiencies in those processes. This includes managing system access as well as providing timely, relevant and accurate data reports to assist with ongoing design, control and coordination of KYC and Regulatory onboarding activities (Subject to the Project as this is IIROC specific as an example):Conduct thorough reviews of client data to identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, and missing information related to Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) as per IIROC standards.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance officers, legal teams, and data management personnel, to gather necessary information and documentation for LEI remediation.Utilize industry tools and databases to validate LEI information and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and potential issues impacting LEI data integrity.Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified discrepancies and deficiencies in LEI data, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.Document all remediation activities, including findings, actions taken, and outcomes, in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Stay informed about changes in IIROC regulations, LEI standards, and industry best practices related to entity identification and compliance.Provide support and guidance to internal teams on LEI remediation processes, regulatory requirements, and data management practices.Participate in audits, examinations, and regulatory inquiries related to LEI data integrity and compliance efforts as required.Review and analyze requirements to understand the impact on existing systems and processesCollaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and regulatory experts to gather detailed requirements for testingDevelop and document test plans that outline the testing approach, scope, schedule, resources, and entry/exit criteriaIdentify and document test scenarios based on requirements and business processes.Create detailed test cases and test scripts that cover various scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirementsCollaborate with business analysts to validate that test cases accurately reflect expectationsExecute test cases in different testing environments (e.g., development, testing, and production environments)Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with developers and business analysts to ensure timely resolutionConduct regression testing to ensure that changes made to address requirements do not adversely impact existing functionalities (ad hoc)Maintain and update regression test suites as needed (ad hoc)Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, compliance officers, and project managers, to ensure a coordinated approach to regulatory or non regulatory compliance testingMaintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and any issues encountered during testingGenerate and distribute test summary reports to stakeholders, highlighting the status of testing activitiesCommunicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and any potential risks to regulatory compliance or non regulatory complianceContinuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectivenessProvide training and support to end-users or other testing team members, if necessary, to ensure a common understanding of testing requirementsPerforming new security and/or books set up and static data validation including:New Security set up across GLOSS, MMI/Anvil and ADP/Impact. i.e. New Issue codes, Futures, TIPS, US Treasuries Auction, Term Deposits, Amortizes, etc. for different regions of BNS Candeal, Bloomberg and MarkitWire administration – handling of new set up requests and maintenance of the existing accountsIdentify trends / errors and suggest enhancements to process/ database to improve overall efficiencyParticipate different meetings to represent the group among the stakeholdersConduct tests in testing (UAT) environment and involve with project/system migration work as necessaryMaintenance of all existing securities in front and back-office systems, ensuring that all necessary adjustments that could impact trades are completedBeing responsible for data entered into the sub-systems accuratelyMust Haves:Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, regulatory compliance, or data managementProficiency in using industry tools, databases, and software applications for data analysis, validation, and remediation (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, LEI Search)Must possess advanced knowledge of Excel, database programming (SQL), Power Point, and Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools)Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify discrepancies, trends, and patterns.Hands on experience as a User Acceptance and/or a Business Acceptance TesterExperience in test case creation, full lifecycle testing, creation of exit artifacts, defect triaging, etc.Nice to Haves:A recognized undergraduate degree is required, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Business (CFA, CPA)Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform a plus
