About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced AI/ML Engineer (AI Platform & Data Engineering focus) to support and evolve enterprise-grade AI and analytical platforms within a large, sophisticated investment organization.
In this engagement, you will play a key role in operating, enhancing, and scaling AI and data platforms used across Capital Markets, Quant teams, Private Investments, and other business units. The focus is not purely model development - but ensuring AI, analytics, and data technologies are reliable, well-governed, cost-effective, and widely adopted.
You will work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics teams, Middleware/Product Engineering, and business stakeholders to enable Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics capabilities across the enterprise.
Services to be Provided
- Support, maintain, and enhance AI & Analytical platforms, including Azure AI Services (OpenAI), Databricks, Power BI/Fabric, Snowflake, and Copilot Studio
- Build and operationalize AI solutions, including Generative AI, LLM-based applications, RAG patterns, and experimentation platforms
- Monitor and optimize platform health, performance, reliability, and cost
- Automate operational tasks using Python and scripting tools
- Provide technical guidance and enablement to internal users across analytics, data science, and business teams
- Manage intake and prioritization of platform support requests and issues
- Drive adoption through training sessions, documentation, onboarding support, and best-practice guidance
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on CI/CD, automation, and environment management
- Research and evaluate new AI, ML, and analytics capabilities to continuously improve the platform
- Develop use cases and proofs of value that demonstrate measurable business impact
- Strong Python experience for scripting, automation, and data/AI workflows (must-have)
Hands-on experience with one or more of
- Databricks
- Power BI / Fabric
- Snowflake
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and supporting ML/AI workloads in production
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models
- Working knowledge of SQL for data exploration, troubleshooting, and validation
- Understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and IaC
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, LLM frameworks)
- Experience supporting SaaS / PaaS platforms in an enterprise environment
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to M365 ecosystem tools such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive is an asset
